For anyone who happens upon my website accidentally and decides to explore despite the "under construction" comments, you may wonder why I have several blog posts that apparently are just me talking to myself.
Well, when I nabbed my domain name back in 2012, I didn't want the website to just sit while I put the stories in my head onto paper and started to learn the craft of writing. But, I also didn't want to promote my page until I have a few completed manuscripts under my belt and begin searching for a home for them.
So, I talk to myself. Every season or holiday, I post a message on the home page to my site visitors, and every now and then I blog about things that I'm thinking about.
When I first started my day job back in 1992, Sue (a chemist I worked for as a lab tech) warned me after I laughed at how often she talked to herself warned me that it was a hazard of the job.
Doubting Thomas that I was, I poo-pooed it. Well, fast forward five years, and I was having entire conversations by myself.
My blogs, until I'm ready to "launch" my website is just a new manifestation of my conversations between me, myself, and I.
Can you relate?
